Services Provided

Through the Accounting and Business Consulting (ABC) program, Launch Industries was selected as one of 12 consultants to provide a variety of services to local businesses to help them achieve long-term success. Launch provides the following services to eligible business through the ABC program:
Startup & Business Licensing Support
Software & I.T. Projects
Human Resources
Payroll & Benefits
Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Operations Assessment & Development
Financial Assessment & Strategy
Eligible small businesses in the Seattle area can receive up to 10 hours of one-on-one consulting and counseling at no cost to them through this program.



Challenge

Each small business that comes to Launch Industries through the ABC Program has its own set of unique challenges. While some businesses are just beginning their entrepreneurial journeys, others are much further along which makes Launch’s role as a consultant quite varied. We provide an array of support services – from business licensing guidance to implementing infrastructure – to ensure each business that encounters us feels supported and confident to take the next step toward their goals. Oftentimes, business owners come to us with a set of pain points that we’re able to address because of the breadth of services we offer and the diverse experiences of our team members.

Our Approach

At Launch Industries, we customize our approach to each business that opts to work with us through this program, always leveraging our own experience as a small business to provide exceptional service. We use our own entrepreneurial learning experiences to walk businesses through each step of the business development process.

Step One: Assess Business NeedsWhen a business comes our way through the ABC program, we first help them assess their most pressing business needs.

Step Two: Determine Appropriate Guidance and ServicesAfter an initial needs assessment, our team of consultants determines the best course of action, guidance, or set of services to help businesses meet their stated goals.

Step Three: Walk Businesses Through Each Step of the Process
Once guidance and services are identified, the Launch Industries team provides step-by-step, hands-on support through each area of need.

Step Four: Transfer Knowledge and SkillsAs a learning organization, it’s important to us to share our knowledge with business owners so they can self-advocate in the future.

Outcomes

Since April of 2023, Launch Industries has supported nearly 200 qualified small businesses through the ABC Program. We’ve helped them secure business licenses and certification, create business plans and financial forecasts, determine business structures, select and implement HR infrastructure and software, and set them up for growth and success in the future.
